Runners set new club record in Oldbury 10 mile race

Congratulations to Steve James, Matt Crocker, Laura Croker, Chris Houlden, Charlotte Ward and Richard Nuell who all took part in Thornbury Running Club’s 10 mile race, which traces a rough figure of eight in the vicinity of Oldbury Nuclear Power Station.

Conditions were perfect on the day, with none of the winds and rain that were a feature of Saturday. Both Steve and Matt managed to beat the previous club record for the distance of 1h05m24s.
